This set contains a selection of modules particularly suitable for Late Republican to Early Imperial Rome, after the reform of Marius, at the time of Julius Caesar's conquest of Gaul, the great sieges of Alesia and of the civil wars. It is also indicated for all roughly contemporary nations that made use of this kind of fortifications, including Ancient Spanish, Greeks, Britons, etc.
All the fortifications elements are supplied unpainted in kit and require assembly. This set include all the modules required to make 8 elements of TF for DBM that can be used as field fortifications or to make a fortified camp large enough to hold 8 element of baggage.
The end bits can be used to end a line of field fortifications in a better looking way or for the edges of a gap left in the fortification line to be used as gate. HOPPIDUS is a truly modular system, and all elements of this set are compatible with each other. This means you can also add more elements from the complete HOPPIDUS range to expand and customize this basic set.
